@dansmigrod I've a Panavise Actiongrip single suction cup mount (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00N9PPOSG/). After watching the video though, I feel I may need something more robust if I don't want to lose the Insta on the road.

I'd mount it on a short pole of some sort. It really should be higher

@Tosolini Yikes! Yup. With a $3,500 camera on the roof, I would want the best mount I could find. Please let us know if you find something better than the one I listed. Here's a photo courtesy of Insta360 Plus, the Insta360 blog post is spot on about how the Google Trusted Photographer turned this turnkey solution into cash in with the Ministry of Tourism in Albania. "The ministry set up a meeting just 3 days after we met, and I told her all the exciting ways we could do this project. We reached an agreement and began to capture the first photos last May. After about 6 months, we inserted approximately 3,000 360 panoramas into public places, such as unique archeological parks and businesses," according to the Insta360 Blog post quoting Google Trusted Pro Federico Debetto. "The Albanian project was placed on the national tourism website of Albania and we created a dedicated Facebook page called Virtual Albania that has collected around 10,000 likes in less than 6 months. The project is not just a side gig — it is a service to help people discover places. The project collected over 8 million views in less than 6 months. People learn about the tour through many different channels, and one of them is Google Street View." @Tosolini Are you going to buy this or something else? Best, Dan |

They really shouldn't post videos like this. The generated panos are all rolled (camera wasn't straight?) and the car as a nadir isn't amazing. And as it's a video, throw that into Photoshop (yes, Photoshop) and apply a few adjustment layers to improve the scene, export, then publish. I wonder ... if this is higher, why not have a physical nadir on your car? No need to patch. |

Weird that they did not put their best foot forward with the video orientation. Also something easy to fix in the Insta360 software. Best, Dan |
