You can use a Z1 with the Street View app. The SV app does not screw up location data in EXIF like the Theta app does and it has an interval mode which is the one you need for a blue line recording. The location data will be coming from a smartphone location.

So just imagine a video game where you "discover" the map. The camera does the same thing. It seems like alignment challenges come in when you scan the perimeter and come back to fill in the details on large spaces. :)

We cannot confirm yet with Labpano if they are going to give an access to Pilot tours to a Pilot Era but I am confident they will. If they do not that is going to be just bad to all Pilot Era owners. However if we are talking about blue lines here I do not think there is any use for V-SLAM as it is done...

5 yearsWingman (4339): Pano2VR should have that functionality. Never used it in Pano2VR but used to get a model with multiple floors to load from GSV into Pano2VR. Then after some changes I reuploaded it back and all floors were left unchanged. I believe they are done through labels in Pano2VR Street View submission form. If it is critical, I can check how it is written there for floors. And I am sure there should be a tutorial about it.

If you are going to use your own 360 camera or stitched images, you will have to use one of the approved platforms like Panoskin or Gothru, and if you are using Matterport GSV service, you can do it automatically.
