Matterport Unique Project: 30,000sf to CAD?3537

Hello all,

Working on a bit of an interesting project for a client and looking for some insight as it is the first of its kind we've had the opportunity to do. We are scanning a 30,000 Sqft open space industrial room in one of their plants (or going to try to at least), and then looking to upload the file into an editing software and put in their 3D cad models of racking in.

Seems like it is possible from what I've read and seen but it would be incredibly helpful if anyone had some pointers on both tips for large scans (this will be our largest if completed) and the work flow involved in converting the OBJ file and editing.

Thanks in advance,
Alex

Request the Point-cloud file from Matterport and then you will be able to import it into CAD software,

Hope your scan will be a huge success,
