Hello everyone, I have a client that has asked to change the background color of the floor plan and dollhouse views from the standard gray to a light green. It is believed that the gym (the tour space) looks like it is under construction as it has gray in the background. I talked to Matterport and they said they would not do it, but I could file a request to have that as an option. My client fully believes it can be done by using the .OBJ file and uploading it to a 3D model building program, but I do not have experience with this. Do anyone have any ideas or would like to complete this for me. My client would be paying for the service. Thank you! Stephanie |

Thanks Chris. You do have super powers and I was all set when you said you couldn't do it, but this client won't take no for an answer, so just reaching out to this wonderful forum full of skillful ppl. To know if anyone knows how to use 3D programs to do this. Thanks!

Here is what I do... or we can do... Is only change it in a photo that you steal from the tour and do it in photo shop... |

@Dolloff - After spending 3 hours of work on this today (during which Matterport bumped the version to v2.12 and removed the 'Showcase Automation API' that I've been playing with) -- I can turn the background to SOLID BLACK. Or change the background to a wireframe sphere. I have tried so many things and have yet to find a way to change it to transparent. They key with a 'Three.js' app like Showcase is to edit the 'Scene' and I'm not finding any way to make the scene have a transparent background. |

I'm not totally certain if I understand your question correctly... Is it just the background gray color you want to change to light green? See example: |

Yes, exactly! When you go to the Dollhouse or FLoor Plan view in the Matterport tour. Exactly like that. I would love to know how!? Please! |

I do it using a blank Power-Point slide... It's very easy. I did that one in less than two minutes. If you don't have PPT or do but don't know how to use it, you are welcome to email me your snapshots and I can do them for you... ListingTunnel@gmail.com (Chad)

Hi Chad, Thank you very much for offering. I was hoping to do it in Matterport tour mode though, but with a snapshot. Like when you are actually in a Matterport tour and the entire scene behind the Doll house view is this color. My client thinks that the gray gives the impression to people that the gym is under construction as they walk through the tour and click into the dollhouse view or floor plan view. So I think I would have to change something in Matterport, which we don't have access to and Matteport is not willing to do... Thank you anyways! |

No problem... That's why I was not completely certain about the question. Good luck.
