Hi All,

I received this email (below) today (31 October 2018) from a long-time Member of the WGAN Forum Community.

I simply do not understand how / why Matterport can sell you a camera and then target your clients.

I could imagine that with 10,000+ monthly Visitors to the WGAN Forum - many whom are researching Matterport and its competitors - this message (below) will help potential Matterport camera buyers decide ...

If Matterport is going to sell to real estate agents, perhaps they should have an internal rule that says if the prospect is already using Matterport, then do not pursue this potential client. And, if they do buy a Camera, then pay the Matterport Service Provider $500 to thank them helping make the sale.

Matterport needs to turn Matterport Service Provides into the boot-on-the ground sales force to help make this a win-win-win for MSPs, real estate agents and Matterport.

Am I the only one thinking that Matterport is shooting themselves in the foot with a short-term focus on selling cameras rather than on a long-term grow the space that will result in more cameras sold, more processing, more hosting and more ancillary revenue for Matterport.

What are your thoughts on the email below?

I have just shifted my focus away from MP. MP successfully marketed to my largest client and convinced them to buy their own camera so I was having a hard time keeping busy enough. ... Completely different business but I am hopefull!
