So I scanned the below property yesterday and in the capulture app it is scanned as and shows as 3 floors However when it is processed it shows as 2 floors . I processed twice with the same result. So I emailed Matterport support and received the below reply. 2 years I have been scanning and never seen this before or aexpected it to happen Thanks for contacting Matterport Support. The floor names and markings you create in the Matterport Capture app are not the same as the floors in the final Matterport Space. After you upload the model, servers in the Matterport vision pipeline determine the floors automatically based on the model's 3D geometry. In your case, the software doesn't consider an attic area that is not full height as a separate floor. We're continuing to improve and refine this feature. Unfortunately since floors are completely machine determined, there isn't anything we can do to fix this. You can turn off the multi-floor feature by adding the URL parameter &f=0 to the end of the URL before you share or embed it. Can anyone on here help? |

@3dshowcaseuk Clearly; three floors. Push back on Matterport Support to have an engineer fix your model. They can fix this. (BTW, how did your connect your scans from floor 2 to floor 3? Magic?) Dan |
