Hi All, This is amazing from Google Street View Support ... ✓ Capture and publish in Video mode ✓ Automatically make your own Street View when you take your camera on a drive, ride or walk. Video mode will record a video which will be converted into Street View when you publish it. ✓ Data about your location will be used to geotag and position your recording on the map. Have you tried this yet? Can you share your experience using this feature and a link to the results? Happy holidays, Dan --- Source: Google Support |

@leonvanzweel Thanks, my misunderstanding I thought it would be actual video footage playing in street view.

@Helen I am still trying to figure out how to publish video to streetview like I do photos and Sphericals, but I have not had success yet.

Tried it today with my Theta s, it would not take a video. The option simply does not exist. You are able to take photographs at intervals and it shows you the route you took. I am interested to see if it links the images. Anyone try it with a Theta v. This would make a big difference for doing paths in parks etc. Also can't wait for integration with Garmin virb.

Found out yesterday by going through google street view forum that only the Theta V is supported for video. Will try this out and get back to everyone.

"Image quality = Somewhere between poop and vomit." https://goo.gl/kxG2Uc I swear, someone at Google Street View owns stock in Ricoh. |

Kinda random ... but another GSV fail. Local Guides is starting to remove accounts and content if you rename your Google Account to your company name in order to avoid sticking your personal name and face on a customer's business. |

Back to the OP topic - testing with Theta V as I wait for my Insta 360Pro to arrive. Yea, the quality from the Theta V is doggy doo. Google Maps added both the blue dots and blue lines. This publish is about 24 hours old. |

@TrustedPhotoDC That's pretty impressive! Did your shots look like "poop and vomit"?
