Hey all Does anyone have experience with stitching multiple obj files together to make 1 model? We just completed a 52,000 sq ft job, with 4 separate scans. I've had some experience with a few mesh programs, but nothing for this kind of thing. |

Just merge the vertices together with a threshold of around 0.001. Can be done with any 3d modeling application. then proceed with checking for unweeded vertices, double edged etc. I have never done this with matter port obj. But I have been welding vertices since 2004.

@kc1302 That's cool. Once .OBJ files have been merged, can you put it back into my.matterport.com so that you can view it on the web? Or is my.matterport.com an "exit only" kind of thing?

It's exit only at the moment (from a user's point of view) MP may be able to upload it so you can have a my.matterport.com link. But going into walk through mode may be difficult
