| One of my colleagues shot her model and processed the interior. After uploading, creating snapshots, finishing the highlight reel, etc. she decided to shoot a couple of 360 views. I guess it makes sense - she went back to the original model and opened it up. Then she selcted the 360 view and shot two views. After uploading, she had two models. The new one has the the 360 views but none of the highlight reels, snapshots, etc. are in there. Is there a way that she should have processed the model so the 360 views could be merged into the original model? |

| Matterport needs to allow us URL rewriting so we can swap out revised tours that we already provided clients. Otherwise one has to make a habit of using a third party URL shortener. | ||

| No, it is processed as a new model and the highlight reels do not transfer to it. They don't charge for reprocessing but it is a new model in your maatterport spaces. | ||

| A URL shortener like Google URL shortener or Tiny URL shortener A URL shortener is an online application that converts a regular URL (the web address that starts with http://) into its condensed format. The user only has to copy the full URL of a website and paste it into the URL shortening tool to come up with an abbreviated version that is around 10 to 20 characters long. In a case with Matterport showcase you put a model up then if it is changed or reupload it and reprocess it will give you a different URL to the showcase(essentially a new showcase) as the old one will still be valid. So you just change the link in the URL shortener. |
