| The one question I would present is most Pro grade scanners require yearly calibration. Is that really required or needed not sure, but the general user of scanners do put some credit behind that theory. I have talked to sales reps for Matterport prior to my purchase of the Pro3 and they said there currently is no plan in place to calibrate the Pro3. I think the yearly requirement may be a little steep since the average calibration cost for my Faro was $2500, not including shipping and insurance and 4-6 weeks down time when it was gone. But I also believe never is the opposite extreme. What are the experts thought on this? |
