Will use of Cortex allow for .OBJ file?14484

We've got a job coming up where the client wants the .OBJ file but there's going to be a lot of outside areas. If we take 360's and convert them to 3D via cortex, will we still be able to get an .OBJ file, or do you have to do it as a 3D scan to begin with? I'm also looking into renting a BLK360, but haven't found one available yet (I'm in Canada). |

Hi @Queen-City-3D I’m fascinated to see what emerges from your post. Facing a series of shoots with potential conversion requirements I did some experiments recently. Sadly they did not go well, with the exterior conversions placing themselves randomly within the indoor 3D tour. Luckily on the day all the exterior 3D shoots went well so I’m not dependent on conversions. Oliver |
