Hi

I scanned this school recently and it seems despite 3 floors being captured, when published it has created 4 floors. (This is part 1 of a 2 part stitching job)

The sports hall area is few steps down, but I did not think it justified a different floor.

It seems the published version has automatically calculated a height difference and added a floor. Any advice appreciated!

Angus

Elevation change from one end of the site to the other could be to blame

Is there a fix or I just go with it?

@angusnorriss

I would just go with it. There’s not really much that could be done with the elevation change

While I have not had this problem, WGAN Community has reported this multiple times.

1. Try Matterport Support
2. Duplicate model and alter something and reprocess.
3. Repeat step #2 multiple times; you might get lucky

I am not sure if anyone has had success with the above.

Wish there was a clear-cut solution for you.

Please keep us posted.

Yes, there is an automatic process that creates floors when the elevation varies too much.
I had recently scanned a very long technical hallway with several light slopes along the way and I ended with 3 floors !
Reprocessing allowed to reduce it to 2 floors however.
