Hi All, Great Matterport webinar earlier today (Tuesday, 23 July 2019). From hearing Chicago Water & Fire Restoration General Manager John Montalbano speak on the topic of Matterport scanning for fire and water damage was super-insightful (they have 26 Matterport Pro 3D Cameras). It's obvious to me that this vertical is going to explode (in a good way) for Matterport. The challenge for Matterport Service Providers is that this kind of scanning is on a 24/7 emergency basis: so not the best business to pursue. That said, when a catastrophe happens, the amount of scanning needed can easily exceed the internal scanning capacity. I do see an opportunity for Matterport Service Providers to offer training. Please share here or start a new WGAN Forum discussion. Best, Dan |
