Here is my pilot project with the camera
https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=BXdMwahUfSs

Its not perfect by any means, but it should be enough to impress people who haven't seen anything like it before.

It was a good test to see what the camera can and cannot do at this point.

I noticed that very bright areas can create artifacts some times. Better avoid direct contact with the sun in the near future.

Doors should stay open for as long as the camera sees them!

Placement (I feel)should be in the natural path of someone walking around the house, NOT in selected spots to cover more scan area. Its nicer to hit forward button and go forward instead of sideways!

Anyway, let me know what you think.

good points to remember...direct Sun light...BAD!!

the idea behind having good coverage is to create a nice clean
doll house and floor plan view with...you can always disable
those scan points that you used to build the 3D geometry
and have a nice flow through the house

going up spiral stair cases, it's better to have more scan data to prevent artefacts or stitching errors...doing every other step seems to work pretty well ..it minimizes the stitching errors
