Video: Thomas Rauscher | Pano2VR Garden Gnome Software - IVRPA Conference 2019 Belfast | Video courtesy of IVRPA Association YouTube Channel Hi All, Gnome Software (Pano2VR) Owner Thomas Rauscher presentation at the 2019 IVRPA Association Annual Conference in Belfast, Ireland (June 2019). Pano2VR is software than enables the creation of Virtual Tours that can be exported as HTML5, WebVR, Desktop App and used to publish 360ºs to Google Street View. In this presentation, Thomas highlights what's new with Pano2VR. (Prior to getting started with Matterport in July 2014, I used Pano2VR in conjunction with PT2Gui Pro to stitch 360ºs that I shot with my DSLR camera and a fish-eye lens.) I could imagine that there are many WGAN Forum Members that use Pano2VR today for hosting 360º Virtual Tours. How do you use Pano2VR? Best, Dan |

I mostly use it to place nadir images on my google tours, though we have hit a major snag with the process as I am unable to access any of my tours on my main business account on Pano2VR. Pano2VR have been working on this for quite a while but right now it has no value to me. It is however a robust software with a lot of opportunity and use. It may be google that is the culprit but from my end I have no idea. |

Have a look at my thread at https://www.wegetaroundnetwork.com/topic/9660/page/1/gsv-panos-dumped-by-google-somewhere-in-the-ocean/#2 Some of my panos from the last Saturday submission to GSV are still in some ocean. Also not a single one(even the ones correctly placed) from that tour have been counted towards my local guide account's score. |

Quote:Originally Posted by DanSmigrod So far I have used it to submit tours to GSV. I have Pano2VR Pro. I have learnt all related to GSV features of Pano2VR in a day doing a tour with 330 panos. I have not touched their custom virtual tour features yet, however I have seen a lot of custom tours done with Pano2VR and some of them are truly fantastic. The only thing is you really want to have two monitors for Pano2VR. It is impossible to fit Google Maps window, your pano explorer window and some other windows into one screen in order to work effectively. |
