Soon, Matterport will launch 3D Virtual Staging powered by RoOomy (presently in private beta). Imagine that you shoot Matterport of just built multi-family apartment community without furniture in the various apartment types. Now imagine that these same Matterport 3D Tours are virtually staged: not one photo virtual staged, not one 360º virtual staged, but the Matterport 3D Tour virtual staged. When you look at a Matterport 3D Tour with this virtually staged experience by RoOomy, it feels like magic. It's that amazing. | Hi All, While exhibiting at a real estate event in Atlanta yesterday (Wednesday, 6 February 2019), I visited with a real estate agent that works for a home builder (300+ homes a year: mostly in the greater Atlanta area). I shared a RoOomy virtual staging example (above) and he immediately could see how this could help his company sell homes faster (and save money on real furniture virtual staging). While I typically do not show what I can not offer immediately (particularly without knowing pricing), I did want some insight. While the agent is not the decision maker, he is likely a cheerleader to help get me in the door to meet with those that can make a decision. We're eager to be able to offer this Matterport-RoOomy mashup, when available. Have you shared an example with a potential client? What's their reaction? Best, Dan |

| @DanSmigrod - I agree this is a dynamic and impressive add-on to MP. The small question is time to have RoOomy staging added to a scan. the BIG question is cost. Looking forward to the details. But thanks for these Azure examples. Dan, can these examples might be downloaded into MP Showcase app to demo for clients offline? I'm usually in range of cellular data, but often not Wifi and this can turn a demo into mud-on-the-face. Thanks if you have any tips, or maybe an answer from RoOomy. |

| Yes - I shared this example with a huge Property consultant firm who has hundreds of properties across the US. I have been in contact with Rooomy but have not heard back how we can proceed. I am reluctant to share with Rooomy any details for obvious reasons. I am not sure how to proceed with this technology since Rooomy is not sharing details on cost, etc.... Rooomy is in a private beta mode. Does that mean they are partners with Matterport? And I wonder how any individual Matterport shooter can Matter? |

| Only way this will be successful if we can do the staging ourselves through Rooomy. If they are going to charge that good luck with your model, will not succeed. Cheaper to just stage panoramas and add into the tour. Feels like they are going the route Archoligic took and proved themselves out of the market. Have so much work for them , but the pricing makes no sense at all. Also if they don’t allow you o place your own bespoke 3D furniture of fixtures it will just be useful for the rental market and maybe off plan show villas or apartments. But lets see we have waited long enough for this. So lets see how they are going to structure this and look after the MP’s or the end user. |

| Interesting if Redfin is trying to keep MP and Rooomy only for use on REDFIN-listed homes on their site, prohibiting MP models on non-Redfin listings pulled from the MLS, in order to encourage people to list with Redfin. | Would like to know when there is an update. Seems like this has been going on longer than I have had my camera 2017! Is there another platform to get this done? Even if it looks "rough" it is better than nothing to show my properties staged, and builders models. Is there a solution, for instance, for the Theta 360 to be staged? Buyers can't imaging how rooms or spaces are to be used without some assistance. Seems like MP is using it's MSP's as last to know. That is unfortunate because they have a built in fan base in us and they are ignoring us for "private label"? Instead of integrating different platforms, why not make the 3D space unique or someone like GeoCV will and MP will be wondering what happened. JS |
