Hey Guys! I'm in the middle of a job on a 2 story vacation rental home, and there are no interior stairs. What are my options here? Attempt to scan the stairs outside? Scan each level separately and somehow combine them later? Thanks! |

scan outside stairs. i don't think there's another option. a scan from the 2nd level has to overlap a scan from the 1st level (as I understand things).

That's what I thought. Just starting outside now, hope it works!

Looks like outside scanning is working. Luckily it's on the shaded side of the house. What's the best way to get a clean looking model now. There are outside areas that sort of fade out. Should I just trim around the staircase?

I've had very good luck with scanning outside the hour before sunset. Now, i've only done it once, but it was very easy.
