This is an augmented reality 'Portal Effect' using a Matterport 3D model. Ingredients: - Find a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress (there is one at the Seattle Museum of Flight) - Scan the interior using Matterport technology - Extract the OBJ mesh file - Upload it onto SketchFab - Install the free Torch AR app on your iOS device - Load the Matterport model from Sketchfab - Position it in your backyard in quasi-full scale - Walk inside it Special thanks to Peder Andreas Nelson and Paul Reynolds #madewithtorch |
