Hi,

Matterport user in the UK, I have a pro 2 camera.

I am finding it difficult to scan past 2 or 3 feet per scan, is this normal? How far between scan can you get?

Its not occasionally its everytime i scan a house, also in the UK we have pretty small dark houses so UV rays are not an issue.

It seems to be getting worse.

Would it be the camera or the software? Or is this just the way it is?

Its getting so bad i am thinking of binning it!

Have you done the firmware update? I take my scans every 5’ or so.

Yep done the updates,

Been having the problem for last 6 months but struggled on just accepting it.

Starting to think an issue with the camera not me

What does Matterport Support say? If you have another Matterport user in your area maybe you can ask them to try it out on it their iPad to help narrow down the issue. Or find someone with an iPad that will let you download the capture app and try it out. That way you will know it’s the vame for sure.

Another UK user I worked with had this, was a hardware issue. MP replaced the camera.
