Hi everyone
I need your advice on how to deal with a staircase.
Recently I experienced a number of failures while scanning on a staircase.
I would appreciate your advice

Thanks in advance
Yossi

@geemaps

Make sure the camera face is parallel to the stair case when the camera stops rotating.

Said a different way, you do not want the stitching to occur on the banister.

That said, solid white, solid black and shinny banisters will be challenging.

Please let us know how this technique works for you.

Best,

Dan

@geemaps

About the examples that you shared above, do you know if the Matterport camera was parallel to the railing? I got to think that it was not ...
