3 yearsCharlesHH (640): Hi I have a model with 140 Mattertags. It is now refusing to let me edit the stalk length. Apparently this is a known bug when you go over 100 tags. You make the edit, you see it, but after publishing it reverts. Has anyone else experienced this and found a workaround. I am using MPEmbed to place content in the tags. But I still need the height to be correct. Thanks for any advice.

4 yearstoddwaddington (526): @BrendanB, so sorry for your frustration. I've had issues where the scan sort of "freezes" in the middle or capture doesn't recognize or other. I usually start with the camera. Power down, then allow it to power up. So far that has done the trick.. I haven't had to restart my iPad. I have closed out of the app and reopened. But, usually powering off the Pro2 does the trick.

What is this Matterport issue, and is there a fix?

5 yearsNN2020 (4): Dan, I agree. I too bought a Qoocam 8k with the idea of offering virtual tours. The camera is still in beta. You have to be a very advanced photographer or settle for the (limiting) auto modes provided. VERY difficult to implement an HDR workflow with the camera.

It's photographic quality is lower but you can do it in big jumps; or just use it sparsely to sort the black spots you're experiencing. We were supposed to receive an email, but I did not get one. Also they said that Publish to GSV on Matterport will be disable temporarily until Google fixes the issue. No proof just my thought process. Was going to test it but figured it was just easier to remove since i am taking out the tripod. I only use Nadir patch ever once in a while. I find them very annoying when they are on every scan.

8 yearswalk360 (79): I have had the same problem couple of times.... if you are able to determined which scan is making the misaligned problem... just delete that one... you might not have to go back and re-scan. Make a copy model on the iPad and delete the 'Problem" scans... and see what happenes.... if for any reason you have to go back to the model it will be just for 10 mins to re-scan few spots. Is that a building in Bogota, Colombia?

Has anyone had any experience with this? The camera has not been dropped or abused before anyone asked. It really had nothing to do with the issue I had yesterday. It was just a coincidence that it popped up at the same time I was having connectivity issues related to the home's wifi. Oh and they say "Sorry" as well. I find this kind of issues unacceptable. This was a huge client for me and now its lost. Beware of this lighting problems.

Did a test today using a vertical LED strip light. Only had it facing into the bathroom and it did a good job. Unfortunately it is 110v so may be hard to hide cord in many instances. Was more to verify the process...now to refine it until Matterport releases the fix. I have been told...

Until that task runs for the current day, it will appear that analytic data is not available since the aggregates have not yet been calculated/populated. During the time frame, you may see the stat shows "Zero". Please revisit it after 10min and refresh your browser and the stat will be re-appeared....

Upload again and the issue should be cleared. you can contact a MP tec for info but he is going to tell you the same. what it does show is that MP lroseccingbdiem doesn't check their process. Disabling individual floor view is a major drawback on huge houses, in my opinion. (do Matterport always suggest the tricks that do not involve them?... that's a bit disappointing). Anyway, problem solved 12H...

While 1 ipad cannot connect to 2 cameras simultaneously I don't see why 2 ipads wouldn't be able to connect to single camera at the same time. They want to make sure whatever they do to fix the problem won't be broken by the new iOS version. So we'll have to wait a bit longer. The good news is that the erroneous location of the blue dot, while troubling, will not affect your model. If the scan aligns, you're ok.
