I've posted about this before (https://www.wegetaroundnetwork.com/topic/213/small-properties/), but I'm starting a new thread to try to get more attention to the issue. I've done a fair number of scans of very small properties, like hotel rooms and trailers. I know lots of others have too! My complaint is that in Dollhouse view, you can't zoom in close enough to get the model to fill the viewing window. Floorplan view is fine, but for whatever reason something in the software is restricting the zoom too much in Dollhouse view for small models. I've reported it as a bug, and Matterport recognized it as such, but they've made no progress on fixing it in the 6 months since. I checked in with them yesterday, and they said that they'd send it along again, but that they haven't had many complaints about it so it isn't a high priority. Can any of you who have small properties and are bothered by this please submit bug reports to Matterport about it? I'd really appreciate getting this fixed. It really makes the Dollhouse view look crappy on models like this: https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=Xj5vGr7vM6M Thanks, Craig |

Yeah I agree. It should be fully zoomable like the 2D. Will submit one as well. Everyone else should as that's the only way thongs like this will be addressed

It looks so lonely in that big space. I agree too.

It's hard to believe the fix for the problem would be that complicated or time consuming to implement... And! So many (most?) of the Apartment.com models are small ones, you'd think they'd be complaining about this issue. |
