Hi I scanned an apartment in Barcelona yesterday. Annoyiglynthe cleaner walked out into shot without me knowing. Looking from kitchen back into living room. I can’t re-visit this one, what to do? Deleting the scan makes the journeying difficult around that point. Thanks in advance! Angus https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=mhQeig52WQ8 |

Hi Angus, I had this same problem once. Only it was me that walked into the shot. As far as I know there is only 2 ways to fix it. One is to deleting the scan and the other is to delete and re-scan the point. In my case I had to go back and re-scan because like you deleting it would have made the walk thru blocked at that point. If someone knows another way around it I would also like to know. |

@angusnorriss While it is technically possible, Matterport considers it a violation of their Terms of Service (really). If the final use case is Google Street View, then you could remove the person. 1. Publish to Google Street View from Matterport 2. Download GSV Tour via Panoskin Pro 3. Use Pano2VR to export the area that needs to Photoshopped 4. Photoshop person out of space 5. Use Pano2VR to return the export to the 360 6. Using Panoskin Pro, republish to GSV Dan |

As per Matterport's e-blast yesterday, it is my understanding is that this feature is coming to beta in Capture App 2.5 ("Note that Capture 2.5 will install only on 64-bit iPads. If you can update your iPad to iOS11, then it is a 64-bit device" Here's what Matterport said: [Beta] Face Blurring As one of our first processing option choices, when you upload a job you can choose to automatically detect faces and blur them. This helps address privacy concerns when needed. This is not reversible, so you may want to experiment with a copy of a job before using for production work. Please send feedback to capture-beta@matterport.com. |
