Matterport Fast Capture Bug???6863

I was completing a series of small scan jobs today [Thursday, 26 April 2018] when the Pro2 froze up and an “unknown” error code popped up. I wish I had written down or screen shot the code but failed to.

I shut down the camera and iPad, rebooted and then resumed scanning BUT the camera reverted back to the slower capture speed. I had been enjoying the Fast Capture since February [2018].

Any guesses why the fast capture went away? Any suggestions for getting it back? Could this be related to MP server glitch addressed here?

Hi there

I thought you could go int the settings in the capture app and select it but I've just checked and it doesn't seem to be there anymore.....

Fast Capture Firmware Beta 6 is going to be rolled out within the next few days. It fixes a memory corruption leak and a few other rare glitches. Hopefully it might stop this from happening to you.

The Fast Capture mode can be toggled in the settings on capture.
