Hi All, I was wondering if anyone has would know if any data has been collected regarding property sales with and without ‘Virtual Tours’. It would make a compelling argument when proposing showcases to the Real Estate companies if they skew in the correct direction. It would be interesting to see how sales compared in terms of how quick properties sold and the expected price vs achieved price. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks, Joe |

Hi Joe, I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for, and the info is a bit dated (2017), but it does have some interesting data -- industry and Matterport data. Very dated indeed. To make the data that you are looking for useful, it needs to qualify what virtual tour method is being used, and if possible, separate Matterport from the rest of the group. Calling a list of photos in a slide show a virtual tour does not make it a virtual tour. Incidentally, these were taken from Matterport's MSP website. Scott |
