Problems with scans near a door6247

| Hello everyone, long time lurker, first time poster here. I did a tour yesterday with a very strange glitch. I can go from floor 1 to floor 2, but can only get from floor 2 to floor 2 from one particular point... from which, incidentally, the door appears closed so no one would think to go that way. When I get closer - to the scans where the door appears open - you can walk right up to the threshold and SEE down the stairs, but can't go back the way you came. I've tried hiding the scan just outside of the door, hiding each of the next two scans, and hiding the one scan at which the door just happens to cross over the problematic scan point. No idea if there's anything else I can do from the back end... any ideas?
