Hello everyone, I was doing a scan avoiding the master bedroom (upon client request). Then they decided they want the master included. The problem is the door of the master bedroom was closed then I opened it. The error is I cannot go through the door because it thinks it is a wall. The bigger problem is the client cannot let us back in the house to fix it. So is there anyway to merge it and bypass that issue? Thank you for your help in advance. |

@3DListings See if you can de-active scans outside the master bedroom such that you still have line-of-sight into the master bedroom. You can deactivate scans in 3D Workshop. You might try deactivating one at a time and then look at the 3D Showcase to see if you can then 'walk in' ... Let us know how you solve the puzzle. Related threads about doors opening and closing and this Doors Open/Closed thread too. You can use the Forum search box - powered by Google - to find more door related thread posts. Dan |

Dan, I deactivated all the scans that actually look at the door. It did not work. I wish Matterport adds a (open/close door) feature like they have for doors and mirrors.

Duplicate the model, then on the copy, delete a few scans that are not absolutely necessary that were taken within line of sight of the door while closed, then re-upload and check. You're trying to find the one that captured the door closed. |

Carlos, It is the same thing as deactivating them as Dan suggested but it doesn't work anyways even when I disable most of the scans It is really frustrating. Thanks |

@3DListings @CarlosFHdz has a great idea that is with trying. Duplicate the model first and then delete scan. You might duplicate the model three times. In one, delete one scan, in the next delete two scans, etc. In this case, deleting is different that deactivating as it affects the mesh (that you can not see). Please let us know if this works and what MP support suggests. Dan |

3Dlistings, deleting a scan and uploading is different than disabling because of what Dan said, it changes the mesh and will chenage the ability to walk through places.
