Hi All,

If you are just getting started with Matterport - or thinking about buying a Matterport 3D Camera – this Matterport created video will be helpful to Scanning Repetitive Spaces with Matterport.

Training Includes

✓ When and why scans can be misaligned (and how to deal with this)
✓ Why adding 3D objects to the space will help avoid misalignment

Not in the video:

✓ you can also try setting the tripod to the lowest level to scan. Once you have the these scans, scan at normal height. In Matterport Workshop, hid the low scans.
✓ delete misaligned scans as soon as they happen
✓ in Spaces that are repetitive, double-check that the scan shows up on the mini-map in the expected place
