| Yes here in the UK the email just arrived - I thought that the UK office had pulled together to put on the event, as I couldn't believe I would be invite to US. I agree with others nice idea but a long & costly way from UK. | ||

| @GeorgeK I think you are the closest so far, so I guess you can go for everyone and you do video! I would probably fly out there and they would run everyone off because people got too rowdy! I wish it was closer and it was more than a few hours. |

| Hi All, This is a great idea (even if I am not invited) ... I imagine that the event will be a full-day - instead of a half-a-day and a pre-party the night before and/or a post party after the event to give Pros a great opportunity to network and save the full-day for briefings, How to sessions, meet the Customer Service Reps; etc. I could imagine that the MSP Summit will be on Thursday, 19 October 2017: 1. Gives Matterport more time to prep for the event (they said October) 2. More likely that Matterport to Street View will launch by then 3. Avoids Columbus Day Travel (a premium on airline and hotel) 4. Avoids Halloween (likely a premium on airline and hotel). Many Pros likely would want to stay for the weekend (and if they have family, that's a challenge with Halloween) 5. Later in the week is easier on the Matterport team for last-minute 6. Avoid Friday. People have weekend plans (including Matterport employees) 7. mid-week easier to travel 8. Monday or Tuesday would force Matterport team to unnecessarily work the weekend. 9. Allows for a weekday for tech setup (audio, projection screens) Best, Dan P.S. I would prefer to see this event as the day before the annual Google Street View Summit. This would likely amp-up the attendance. In a perfect world, Google Street View Summit, IVRPA and Matterport would all be the same week (and in subsequent years, other Camera companies/platforms would add participation which would further amp-up a reason for all of us to travel.) |

| I received it and as Argentina is in the bottom of the world, it is a very long and expensive trip. Having my son living in San Francisco is an advantage (free housing and car), but I wonder if the event justifies such a long trip... probably not, specially considering that some of our distinguished forum members will attend and will represent our interests. Perhaps a brainstorming session in the forum a few days before the event could help to clarify the main topics to discuss. |

| Well I hope the dates get released sooner than later so plans can be made. Dan your predictions in the past have been right so I hope the date you identified is it. For that date travel would be only a few hundred for me. So I hope your also right that they read every word in the forum so they see there is interest and hurry and release the dates. | ||

| @Wonderdawg I wonder if we did not make the invite list for the Summit or Beta? I could imagine that the original plans was to use it as a Matterport Service Provider Launch Party for Google Street View integration - and that timing has been delayed ... I will look into the event too. Are you teaching it? I would  to get together with you for breakfast Thursday, November 2nd.
