| Hi David, if you are asking for a interactive virtual tour with new furniture, this is a feature long awaited from Matterport or a third party collaborator. I've followed the space for about a year and to my knowledge there is no commercial service available for this. Blue-Sketch (my company) can make furnished 3D Floor Plans based on your scan. The outcome is a set of still .jpg images http://blue-sketch.com/product/3d-floor-plans/ OR as @GlennTremain suggest (thank you), we take a snapshot from the rooms and stage these photos. | There are many ways to do it if you work with the OBJ or Point cloud. I don't think you could do much with the actual Matterport WebGL tour. Here's a way to do it with the point cloud. Use Agisoft or Meshlab to create a cleaner OBJ file than the one available from the Matterport service. You can then use the OBJ in many different 3D modeling app. I saw a neat asset for the game engine Unity to do it with the HTC Vive in real time. Load your scene, and then simply walk around and add requested furniture. clickable text I know, I'm getting far from standard Matterport process, but it's still neat innovation worth sharing. |
