Hi CKC,

Not that I am aware of. This is where the camera cannot see directly underneath itself but should be covered by other scans a few meters away.

I haven't had any issues with clients because of the blur. When you use google street view, the same blur is there. I think it's understood what the blur is.

The lower blurred section I believe is intended to mask out the tripod legs. No explanation with the upper blurred portion. Lens limitation.

Yeah its just lens limitation on both. Below just happens to get rid of the legs as a benefit
Instead of a blue, it should have a disc with our inputted details on it. Some other pano software packages allow you to do this

I was told by Matterport the blur is there due to the limitations of the actual camera angle [it doesn't look directly above or below]

Instead of a black hole,.. they put the blur there.

I would rather have the blur than a blue disk, it would be too distracting..
