Ever wondered if there's anyone out there stealing your photos, content, or website? It's actually pretty easy to use Google to scan the internet for people who are using your stuff. Just use Google Photos to either upload a photo or direct it to the link where your photo is located. Then it will search for the same photo or similar photos. Also, a very handy website is www.CopyScape.com. Just put in your website and it will tell you who is copying any of your content. I've found over 12 people using my stuff online without permission! |

That was fun. Found a person in LA using a couple paragraphs of mine that had poor endings to paragraphs written this year. Mine were last year. Found another in Finland with some similar verbiage about scan, quick turn around and review online. And then sifting through YouTube videos to make sure they're mine. | ||

Thanks for the great tip. I've had my work stolen in the past and it was unsettling to say the least. I fought for weeks to get it straightened out. Your suggestion will prevent further trauma. Much appreciated. Best, Rick Odato Suncoast Skyview Photography Sarasota, FL 34243 |

Nice job rendering. I must admit, when I first started and tried getting the word out, I almost did this. Then I thought, and decided against using the old "How would I feel". I settled that if I ever wanted to I will seek permission, as that's what I would want". It was this very experience, that made me rethink my whole strategy. I decided to go big or go home, and now am hiring a professional web developer/hoster, and going to relaunch, in a big way, and thanks to WGA Standard edition will have resources to make it possible without having to steal. |
