Hey, I just scanned a theater with bright red, orange and yellow lights on stage and it seems that matterport has a problem processing this colors. Look at this two pictures. Model Colors Correct Colors I spoke with Matterport and they told me this: ---- Thanks for contacting us with your question. This, unfortunately, is a common problem with bright reds, oranges and yellows. The fix is coming out soon, but I don't know exactly when it will be deployed. Once deployed, you and I can reprocess your model and the colors will be as you would expect. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. ---- I think this is not acceptable for a camera this price though. Does anyone had this problem before? Thanks |

I did a theater too. i didn't have trouble with colored lights like you did, but I was unhappy with the result. Sometimes brightening a room is not the desired outcome. | ||

@jscottsmith I Agree, this is my second theater and I think I´m not going to offer my services to this spaces any more until they fix this lightning problem. @ron0987 Of course, I´ll let you know as soon as they send me the update. Manolo |

So I just wanted to update you guys. The response from Matterport was that they are releasing a color correction firmware and that I have to "reshoot" the place. Oh and they say "Sorry" as well. I find this kind of issues unacceptable. This was a huge client for me and now its lost. Beware of this lighting problems. |
