Hi Spencer. For years I have backed up our iPads using iMazing. Connect the iPad to your Mac with a cable, then all the folders and applications appear similar to a Finder window. Navigate the Apps folder to locate Matterport and copy the entire Jobs folder. All your capture data is there.

Matterport does make it a little tough to understand the identity of each job, as the file names are all gibberish. But if you have a calendar log of all your scan jobs, you can figure out by the date created. Also, in each folder will be at least one .jpg image, which is the minimap view when the job ended. I can often recognize the site by looking at these. Also, using iMazing you can copy any ancient MP job file back to your iPad and reprocess to re-create a model that was deleted. Very useful.

Bottom line, all scan data should be backed up from iPads. It has saved me a couple times and worth it just for that. IMazing has never let me down.
