Is there a way (for the receiving account) to trim a Matterport model AFTER it has been transferred into another account?

Use the trim tool in Matterport workshop. You can place (I think) up to 16 trimboxes. Go to Workshop/Edit and click the scissors icon (clipping) on the bottom.

Is this what you are looking for?
