Hey guys, I recently shot a Matterport tour which I'd like to upload to Google Street View. Now the client has asked me to blur certain parts of the tour containing sensitive information. Can I use Matterport's blurring tool and upload the tour afterwards or do you have any other suggestions how to go about this. Thanks in advance! |

@jamal2022 I am not sure about the blur tool and MP import to Google Street View so I am watching what other have to say. The other possibility is if you have access to an Android tablet to export the tour to the Android Tablet and use the MP Beta capture APP feature that allows you to import individual 360 panoramic shots. With that tool you can export the 360 shots that need blurring blur and re-introduce them into the tour. If your willing to put the time and effort into the project you can export the pano and use Affinity software and the new Photo Shop software and remove and patch very effectively. You need to search the We Get Around Network website. @DanSmigrod had a link to an excellent tutorial. |

As far as I can remember the blur tool in Matterport workshop is permanent. I would guess it actually blurs an actual 360 or cube faces. With that in mind whatever you blur in the workshop will stay blurred when published to Google Maps. | ||
