Parts of rooms disappearing / cut off1737

Had this happen today for first time. I thought it was a fluke thing until it has happened 4 times now. Part of a room just was cut completely off in my capture app long after I had scanned that room. I went back and rescanned. The missing part reappeared. Then it would happen again...just like someone cut it off with scissors - perfect cut. So the last scan I did, was that room. I walked out of the home with a good complete scan. Get home and what has happened? The room on the other side of the house has done the same thing. Except this time, I can see the cut off part sitting off in no man's land to the left of my model. I am scared to upload this as there are trimming marks as usual on the outside areas of the home - thus cutting off the part I need to get back to where it belongs. What is going on??? Remove trim lines then upload??? |

@pixelray remove the trim lines and upload. In the mean time, please post the before and after mini-maps from your iPad here along with the before 3D tour. I could imagine a trim line you think is on one floor is affecting a different floor. Dan |

This problem happened the first several times in the room to the far right where scan 117 is (office). So, I did that last scan before leaving to make sure that room was good. Then, I get home - it's the master bedroom closet now that is cut off where 81 and 82 are. But, I just realized that the areas on the left are from that office where it initially happened - it's not the missing closet piece.

@pixelray Zoom in screen grabs of the areas around 117, 81 and 82. Plus, this is important, the mini-maps for the other floors above and below the affected areas (reminder to remove trim on other floors too. Not saying it makes sense, just do remove the trim on the other floors). And, the link to the 3D tour? Dan |

And, I already uploaded with trim lines on other floors. Should I remove and reupload now - but, guess it's too late really though huh?

I'm guessing this just may affect the dollhouse / floorplan view since I am uploading with a piece missing. Who knows. At least the scans didn't get cut out. Good thing this is located in a closet vs the office where it was. But, hey, who knows, maybe I am fretting over nothing.

Looks like I am good! This was the first upload with all the trim lines still there. All that worry over nothing!

@pixelray In the future, I would be careful in marking windows and mirrors a little bigger than what they are and avoid using trim markings.

Wish I would have seen this post earlier. I would have told you to relax. Your model would come out 'normal'. This has happened several times for me now. The only issue is you might not be able to see your map on that particular floor. |
