I have been looking into possibility of using Unreal Engine 5, or Unity, to further enhance the Digital Models, any suggestions?

Do you know what you would like to accomplish or just wondering what's possible?

Are any of these WGAN Forum discussions helpful that are tagged:

Unity3D
Unreal Engine

Best,

Dan

A Pro2 Matterport Scan is not really usable for game engines. The obj has too many polygones.

The scan data looks like this:

Polygones everywhere and texture files that you cannot use. You have to rebuild everything from the pointcloud data and then texture it and attach materials.

I see, but if you’re using the point cloud file, wouldn’t something like Unreal Engine 5 be able to run this without any issues. I have seen a video of someone taking the XYZ file and making into a 3D CAD file. Would this more work?
