Matterport Blur Tool not working for me. You? How to solve?17026

Having issues with the blur tool. After applying the blur and accepting it can't be reversed, the blur is there when it says it's processing but after it says applied the blur is gone.

Have a support ticket open.

Is it working for anyone?

It can be deleted in the timeline. It does take a little while for any changes to reconcile on the actual model.

Yes, something is seriously wrong with it. I have had it corrupt my dollhouse view, cause the showcase to crash shortly after loading, and yes, the magical disappearing blur, which show as applied in the tool, but no evidence of them otherwise. Keep us posted on any developments with your ticket?

No. I have the same problem.
Add blurs - then it says processing, then Applied but they are not there.

I'm still having problems. Received this from Matterport. I responded that it still doesn't work.

We've received an update from the engineering team that the blur processing issue has been resolved last night.
Could you please try to add blur again and see if it will be applied without an issue?
If the issue still persist, please share with me the model ID and the blur number which you just tried to apply blur but not working so I will go back to the engineering team and report the issue again.

As above I have had problems with blur.
I tested again by going to an old model and adding blur.
Apply blur - Processing, the Applied.
Blur does not ask you to 'Publish' so to be safe, I made another change and then published.
No sign of the blur that I had applied.

It has appeared on the model I was having trouble with - several blurs made.
These seem to have appeared after 2 or 3 days!!
But I had support looking at it too, so I am not 100% sure if they appeared because of some action by support!

Let's see what happens with the model that I just blurred. I'll check every 24 hours and let you know.

**Update**
I received an email from Matterport Support today, 7/12. It seems they have fixed the issue.

"Thank you for your patience.
I have received an update from our engineering team that blur issue is fully fixed now.

We have also tried in our sample spaces and sometimes the blur is not applied immediately after it says "applied" but once I move the scan point a little or refresh the screen, the blur is applied.

Please help to check and let me know if you are still facing the blur issue.
I will be happy to investigate further.
