| Hello All, Same question i asked 2 years ago, perhaps there is new answers: What is the MAXIMUM Matterport scans you managed to squeeze together? and what was the project ? I did a max of 270 scans using Insta360 ONE and iPad Pro. Does max scans relates to Matterport capability to mesh scans together or is it directly related to the capture device (iPad?) One more: What error you could get if your number of scans exceeds Matterport capabilities? Thanks  |

900 Scans!! AMAZING  I Notices you hid the scans in the long corridor which made the jump/fly thru automatic... Cool trick  For those recitative long corridor, did you have to use QR prints or add any physical items so the Ai does not get confused and mix the scan pints ? |

| @skyload300 one of our friend do capture a factory area of more than 25000 Sq.Meter. Sorry, no showcase link, it is a private showcase. It is Pro2 on iPad pro 2021 with 8GB memory. So that it could be more on an iPad pro 2021 with 16GB memory. Sorry, no idea for Insta360-ONE. |

| @skyload300 It's likely that WGAN Forum discussions tagged - large - will be helpful (to see some even larger Matterport spaces than mentioned above) and discussion of buying an iPad that has the MOST MEMORY and MOST STORAGE. Personally, I would under promise and (attempt) to over deliver by promising clients "up to 30,000 SQ FT" within one Matterport tour and attempt to scan the space as ONE model. It's worth noting that Matterport Capture Services On-Demand says, "We support spaces up to 30,000 sq. ft." | @skyload300 Matterport (presently) offers a free Stitching Service (when you need to combine two or more large spaces): ✓ Matterport Stitching Services: FAQ Again, I would encourage you to under promise and over deliver. For example, even if you shoot two large spaces - with overlap - for Matterport to combine, Matterport may either: 1. end this service 2. be backed up in offering this service (take weeks!) 3. can not combine your new spaces because there was not enough overlap to do so 4. other So, promise X number of models and if you are able to get them combined, (pleasantly) surprise your client. | Let's see how far can I push my Insta360 OneX with iPad Pro 2021. I plan to scan the outer perimeter of a large space first (to build a clean dollhouse) Then save a copy on ipad app, Then continue scanning everywhere else. This way I have a previous she'll copy (as an undo button). |

| @skyload300 our experience told us that the qty of maximum scans was related to the memory of your iPad Pro. The maximum memory is 16GB (iPad Pro 2021 with 1TB storage has 16GB memory), we can only confirm that there could be more than 1900 scans for a 8GB iPad Pro 2021 (BTW a 1900 scans showcase require around 160GB storage space on your iPad). No chance to try a 16GB iPad Pro 2021 yet, but we believe that with a 16GB iPad Pro the limit can be far more higher. | ||

| This one is 1198 scans. All done with a pro2, most of outdoor done during a daylight. Actually almost all of it, not counting a few small spots done after sunset and some done during a light rain. |
