Hmmm, interesting stat. I wonder how much they actually care about that, because I'd think they would make it easier or less costly to hold more properties instead of dumping out of our accounts when we're finished with them.

@CTownMedia

It's unclear how Matterport counts "spaces Under Management" ...

1. Active Matterport models?
2. Active and Non-Active Matterport models?
3. Total models processed?

I could imagine that Matterport wants the biggest number: total models processed; but I don't know.

Makes sense to me and I think that would make the most sense for them to want to share as well. Their verbiage is definitely vague. My initial thought would be current models active when they use the term spaces under management instead of total models processed, only because I guess I relate it to assets under management from the financial world and money managers wouldn't count money that was transferred away.

Ha!

I could imagine that Matterport counts the largest number.

Yes. In some way, it seems misleading since a likely large percentage of Matterport spaces are no longer public (real estate listings that have been sold).

I also wonder about "Deleted" ...

If you "delete" a model (rather than "hide" ), is a "deleted" model counted as "Under Management"?
