Hi All,

I noticed this silky smooth drone fly-through an industrial building (interior) by @Hopscotch

@Hopscotch

Was your drone fly-through capturing depth data either via Skydio 3D Scan or other solution?

(See Video) Question of the Day: Your Thoughts About Skydio 3D Scan?

How do we know this is a drone fly-through? I've seen similar videos (both 360 and regular FOV) made by placing the camera on an extendable pole (up to 30') (see Mike Ty video on the Insta360 3 Meter Extended Selfie Stick). Additional smoothness can be achieved with a DSLR or iPhone by mounting it on a gimbal on the pole. Doing an interior video like this with a drone requires excellent flying skills because there is no GPS and you can't use the sensors. Carrying a pole with a camera mounted on it only requires that you can walk the path you've planned and hold the pole steady.
