Hi all, My camera arrives today supposedly. Among my 3,000 questions.. I've seen pricing that includes "clean up". What is being described? I'm guessing scanned images can't be used for still photography for real estate and that photos are being done in conjunction with the shoots. Though I do recall one brokers video saying he took his stills from the scans. |

Not sure what that term refers to, but yes, you can take stills from your scans. As a matter of fact, they're stunning wide angle shots. Even for homes we don't want a 3D tour for, if it's empty, for instance, we still use the scan to take stills out of it, which we then virtually stage. You AND your clients are going to love it! | ||

After your work is processed by Matterport there are times when certain artifacts appear outside the dollhouse. You can use the "trim" process to clean up these anomalies. It is not difficult and only takes a minute. Then you re-upload your file and have it re-processed. They do not charge you for that. I agree with the Beckers regarding taking still captures from the Matterport scans. They are excellent. Most of the time, I don't even get my Nikon out of the car to take interior shots. Best of luck. I hope you enjoy your new camera. |
