Vuze XR 360/1800 Camera Hi All, A WGAN Member writes: --- ... Is there a topic on the [Ricoh] Theta Z1 where one can just use one of the cameras for 180 view? I am doing a project for in car 360 and when shooting the outside I don't want the full 360 view. Thanks and Hope you have a Great New Year ahead. [name redacted] --- While there is at least one 360 camera that also shoots 180 degree (pictured above), do you know of a plug-in for the Ricoh Theta Z1 that enables this? Or, perhaps a workflow in post production to only use one of the two 180 shots? Happy New Year, Dan |

VR180 is a technology that seems to have good potential for capturing real estate but limited to only a handful of specifically designed cameras none of which perform well in low light. As far as I can tell there is no way for the Theta to create this kind of view because you need stereoscopic (two lenses facing same direction). I would love if someone came up with a way to mount two thetas side by side to stitch together a VR180 video file | ||
