Distance Learning Platforms to Mashup with Matterport?13375

I'm working with some of the museums here in NYC to help create virtual tours of their spaces. Part of the implementation would be for distance learning purposes.

A cursory search has revealed many companies scrambling to either create or adapt their platforms for these purposes. Does anyone know of any VR platforms that do offer any sort of distance learning functionality?

Or anything in the offing? I've found one in beta at https://framevr.io/ that's interesting, anything else out there? Thanks!

Wow! FrameVR looks way cool. Thanks for sharing that.

Hopefully, WGAN Community will have additional learning tools to mash-up with a museum.

Since it is likely that you have hundreds of MatterTags to create/manage, I strongly encourage you to viewing this this free WGAN-TV Training U Course:

It's also likely that you would find MPEmbed overlay for Matterport Showcase super-helpful for organizing MatterTags by color; adding audio annotation for specific 360s (e.g. stand in front of this painting and hear about it from the exhibit curator)

(WGAN Standard and Premium Members receive the free use of MPEmbed Premium Basic via WGAN Rebate Form.)

Additionally for museums, here is a solution for charging admission for viewing special museum exhibitions. I strong encourage you to viewing this free WGAN-TV Training U Course:

Thanks, these were both enormously helpful!

3DVista looks veery promising - and the fact that if offers local hosting makes it even more appealing. Any other feedback on using the interface?

One of the easiest to learn interfaces there is for the amount of power it has. Lots of tutorial videos on YouTube.
