| Inman (28 July 2020) Zillow will allow self-tours on all company-owned homes - The company is also adding a digital floor plan to all Zillow-owned listings "The company also announced plans to accompany each Zillow Offers listings with a digital floor plan in addition to a 3D tour as home shopping increasingly becomes a virtual experience," reports Inman. "Zillow first piloted its self-tour platform — which allows shoppers and agents to use the Zillow app to unlock and tour an unoccupied home — in Phoenix, in March 2019. The company found that self-tour homes sold six days faster than homes without the feature," reports Inman. "A company survey found that 79 percent of buyers report that they’re more likely to view a home if the listing included a floor plan they like. I have seen these digital floor plans ~ I put in a request for the ability to add these for some of my builder clients. But, they are keeping these for Zillow Owned homes for the time being. |
