Hey all, I came across this VR guided tour, Do you know what technology (software) was used to build this? Perhaps in house ? Or do you know what next beyond Matterport to complement a good VR solution ? (3D vista?) Tour: https://www.jacobs-university.de/campustour/ Company that built it: http://www.kubikfoto.de/ Thanks Guys, |

It’s clever in a way but I do not like it. A series of still images with walkthrough between each. Some tags. I much prefer the Matterport tours I have done of some large schools recently. |

Hey Charles, yeah it's not great I agree, but there will be customers who needs something like this. Care to share links to your MP schools ? |

3DVista has the ability to set "live video" areas within fully active 360 panos, similar to how these people can be "clicked" to come alive. However in this case it's not using 360 panos but simply 2d photos. Probably not 3DVista, but if you're interested in this sort of thing, explore 3DVista. and you can do cool things. |
