I have just received a reply to my email support query regarding the media mattertags being offline. I sent the email on 14th May

I mean really is this what we pay for. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for those with urgent issues.

I got the answer to my question within 24 hours right here on the forum thanks to all its contributors

Yeah that’s unacceptable, but I guess their bad reputation is true. I’ve been having trouble with the Capture App crashing on me numerous times over the past week. I guess I won’t bother contacting Matterport Support on the situation.

DouglasMeyers Don't give them a penny more than you need to.

Use the guys at www.mp2fp.com they turn the floor plans around as quickly as they can, sometimes 12 hours, depending on time zones. The don't name the rooms which suits me fine as matterport always name them wrongly and you need to start to edit anyway

@8643D - if you call they will tell you they don't know, can't help, it's unsupported, and they don't care.... Just to save you some trouble. They might tell you to check their outdated (by at least a year) list of supported devices. If you ask them for specific performance information they will lie and tell you they are creating a support case.

The only way to fix this is for Matterport to understand support is a critical role and to terminate workers who have low ratings from customers.

Unfortunately, right now, Matterport is busy trying to sell it's service to "enterprise" (aka fat target) customers.

@DouglasMeyers - my last two took 4 days to get back. Sigh. Guess even India/China is disrupted (or wherever they manually draw the plans from a screenshot of the 2d view).

I sent in a support request by email over a week ago - no answer as yet. Two days ago, I called - spent over 4 hours on hold and no one picked up the phone.

They are really turning into a zombie company. But, hey, we'll hear from them again when they need more cash.

I am waiting for almost a month for Matterport to make 3 duplicates of one tour. And all I am getting are their promises to come back to me.

Remember I was worried when Matterport announced a new CEO and his previous experience with eBay?
I'd wish I were wrong but it looks like eBay all over again for me.
