Any Imazing/IExplore experts out there?12028

| Looking for some insights from an experienced Imazing/IExplore back up user. So- I've finally decided to back up and save all our scans to an external hard-drive going forward. So, I bought and downloaded Imazing/IExplore and did my first back up. I'm not particularly clever with this type of stuff. I now have a couple things I'm not sure about: let's say you have backed up 200 scans to the external HD. Then you need 123 XYZ street to be moved back to an ipad for edits and re-upload. Questions 1- do I have to copy/move the entire BACKUPS and JOBS folders back to the ipad? 2- Or could you just move the BACKUPS folder and the relevant JOBS subfolder, once you figure out which one it is? 3- Or can you just move the relevant BACKUPS stuff? Obviously, if you have to move the entire backup BACK to the ipad you better have a lot of free space. |

| I move jobs off my iPad with iMazing I like to create subfolders on my backup drive to sort my jobs by company and by job so, that I can quickly find a job if when needed. However, it is really important to leave the job folder in tack and do NOT rename it  |

| Thanks, good tip. So, if you want to restore Coyote A205 back to an ipad, could you just move the sub-folder 20384047-xxxx over? |

| Excellent. Thanks. I'm afraid to screw up existing scans on our working iPads. I'm wondering if you could just transfer your backup files to an older/lower spec ipad for upload, and then keep our ipad pros safe. I'm gonna try it. |

| @Expertise I have moved models back and forth between iPads and iPhones using iMazing and it works well on the Mac ~ it should work in a similar fashion on the PC |

| Hope it works out. I’ve been backing up jobs that come back blank when I restore them using imazing. Used to love that program. Now scratching a hole in my head. | ||
