 Screen Grab: Matterport Blog Matterport Pro2 Camera Delivery time is 4-6 Weeks (as of 22 May 2020) Hi All, If you place an order today for a Matterport Pro2 3D Camera, it likely will not arrive for 4-6 weeks, says Matterport CEO RJ Pittman in a Matterport blog post Thursday (21 May 2020). "Over the past couple of months, we have seen unprecedented demand for the Matterport Pro2 camera. Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing a delay in shipping our cameras due to extended lead times on critical materials caused by a COVID19-strained supply chain. Factory closures, reduced production capacity, reductions in flights to transport materials, and reduced staffing at airports are all creating new challenges we’re working hard to overcome," according to the Matterport Blog Post. "We are actively working to increase our production capacity and material availability to support the increasing demand. This includes expanding our production lines, hiring, and working with our suppliers to do the same. We ask that you please remain patient while we implement these actions," according to the Matterport Blog Post. "The current delivery time for new [Matterport] Pro2 camera orders is roughly 4-6 weeks. We will continue to keep you updated as things progress, and you can always reach out to us or your Matterport representative for an update," according to the Matterport Blog Post. | Yikes! I ordered my Pro2 on 5/19 and was quoted a 2wk lead time... 5/22 RJ’s post says 4-6wks. I have emailed my contact at Matterport that helped me with my order to check the status. I am clinging to a hope that my order was part of an earlier supply block and not a shipment that has yet to cross the globe... /smh I am not generally that lucky but I guess we will see. I will reprint the thread when I hear back from Matterport. | ||
